Michelle and I met back in 2006. We first made contact online, then at a coffee shop after a month of emails and chatting. We hit it off immediately due to common interests, tastes, and especially very-compatible senses of humor. We found out we are kindred spirits. Soon after we met we began spending more time together.
I think for Michelle, the most memorable moment from the coffee shop was when I told her I know how to dance the box step, then stood up and showed her!
Michelle visited my tiny apartment on our second date. After telling a story about hating palmetto bugs and how a big giant palmetto bug flew into her face when she was a kid, what should appear, but a huge palmetto bug. I tried to chase it down with the broom. It was on the floor near a chair, then suddenly flew up at me (I screamed) then it made a b-line for Michelle's face! I thought to myself, "well, this date is probably over..." which was rather freeing, actually.
We became "officially" boyfriend and girlfriend June 28th, 2006. We just "clicked" and we both knew we clicked. Things between Michelle and I were very right.
We moved in together in September of 2006, into a decent 3rd story apartment in Deerfield Beach. We have vaulted ceilings, something I kept panting to myself every time I had to carry another piece of Michelle's furniture up the stairs while moving in. Our home is very happy!
Things have not been without some difficulty, however. Michelle is pursing her PhD in Neuro Psychology. That's not the bad thing; That's great!. She's going to be a doctor, honey! A doctor!
The bad part is, this has required her to take an internship out of state. We are currently making the best of our long distance relationship and visiting as often as possible. We talk every day.
After over a year, I'm convinced she gets cuter everyday. Today she mailed a package to me which included among other things a Mix CD (no woman has ever made me a mix CD!) and a really sweet Halloween card. She's always been there for me. I love her more than ever.

She is Brilliant, Funny, Vibrant, Alive, Kind, Compassionate, and Loving!
So long as we've lived apart, I have taken good care of her cat (and mine, and the kitty). Here's some books that will come in handy if I ever decide to take out the cat. And some books for her if I go that route.
